4 Week Saturday Belly Dance Technique Intensive (For students in choreography intensive- technique and combo drills to help support practice) $75

Troupe-Only Classes
Troupe Classes are open to Shimmy Shakti Troupe to prepare for November 22 Show. Students in Choreography Intensives welcome to join troupe and join troupe class even if not performing at this time. 
  • 5 classes $75 | 3 classes $55 | Drop In $20
  • You must attend one of the choreography intensives to attend Troupe-Only Class
  • You must attend at least 2 Troupe Classes PLUS Dress Rehearsal for performance on 11/22

Shimmy Shakti Belly Dance Goddesses will be joining the Krewe of Goddesses, Krewe of Hellarious Wingnuts, The Legendary Order of the Casket Girls, and the Bywater Crazy Cat Lady  Krewe for  Les Fous du Carnaval Parade  Friday, January 31st  in the French Quarter  (6:30pm lineup) Parade Theme:  Fou Watcha Wanna Shimmy Shakti "Take" on the Theme: "We are the muses"  Protectors of Dance Inspired by the Muse Terpsichore which means "delight in dancing"   We will honor New Orleans Dance & Parade Culture  We will wear Royal Blue to represent the Mississippi River and Lake Ponchartrain surrounding the Crescent City and offering  connection and protection _____________________________ Joining our krewe is simple.
