We can't wait to welcome you to our "Suite" space at Studio Shakti New Orleans. Rest and re-attune at this sacred Sound Bath with local musician and yoga teacher Laura Cherry. Laura leads an immersive Sound Bath using an array of therapeutic sound instruments, including crystal singing bowls, gong, elemental chimes, tuning forks, steel drum, and original compositions on the harmonium accompanied by mantra. The pure tones and vibrations invite the mind into a relaxed, meditative state that can improve mood, ease physical tension, and “tune-up” your nervous system. You will be guided into relaxation and breath awareness in a supported reclining posture. A limited number of yoga props, including mats, bolsters, and blankets are provided on-site. Please feel free to bring your own props and eye pillows. Suitable for all bodies and experience levels.
